Our chili biltong jerky is made from AAA Canadian beef – we only use premium Eye of Round.
First, we hand cut the meat following the grain into 2.5cm steaks, then we splash the meat with apple cider vinegar before rubbing our spice mix onto every surface.
The next step is to cure the meat for 24 hours in the fridge. Then, we hang and slowly air dry it for 3-5 days. The result is a cured and dried steak of the most flavourful meat you will ever try.
Lastly we cut the steaks against the grain into relatively thin slices, it’s spicy for sure but not too hot for most people to enjoy. If heat is not your thing, we recommend our original flavour beef biltong jerky.
This mouth-watering snack is high in protein, with a far more intense meat flavour than jerky and due to the thicker cut of meat used tends to be more tender and moist than our beef chili stix, this makes them the perfect treat for Keto, runners, crossfitters and pretty much anyone else that loves meat.
250 grams of our chili beef biltong is packed into commercial grade, BPA free, heavy duty, vacuum sealed bags prior to shipping to keep the biltong fresh.
